The Indian over-the-top (OTT) audience has expanded significantly, growing by 14% year-on-year to a total of 547.3 million users, according to the latest findings from The Ormax OTT Audience Report: 2024. The report, which is based on a comprehensive sample of 12,000 respondents from both urban and rural areas across India, indicates that OTT platforms have achieved a penetration rate of 38.4% in the country. This growth underscores the increasing popularity of digital streaming services among Indian viewers.
